CBS Orders Pilot About a 70-Year-Old Nebraskan’s Broadway Dream
CBS has ordered a single-camera comedy pilot, Hilda! (In Lights!), about a 70-year-old Nebraskan woman who moves to New York to chase her Broadway dreams. Three scripts were ordered in development from writer/EP Abbey Caldwell, with Will Graham, Max Linsky, and Tonia Davis among the non-writing EPs; the project is produced by CBS Studios and eyed for the 2027–2028 season.
