BaFin opens probe into Zalando’s About You deal disclosures
Germany’s financial watchdog BaFin has opened a probe into Zalando’s 2025 accounts, stating the online retailer may have breached disclosure rules by not revealing a related-party transaction tied to its €1.1bn acquisition of About You. Zalando says it is cooperating and notes all material information was disclosed in the takeover offer, while its shares fell after the news.
