Peacock has ordered the mockumentary comedy series "Mr. Throwback," starring NBA star Steph Curry and actor Adam Pally, after it was originally set up at NBC for development. The show follows a memorabilia dealer seeking redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate, NBA great Steph Curry. The project is the first to emerge after Curry's global talent partnership with NBCUniversal in 2021, and it will join Peacock's lineup of popular mockumentaries. The series is created and produced by David Caspe, with involvement from the writing duo Matthew and Daniel Libman, and is produced in association with Curry's Unanimous Media.
