Adilet Poised for Dominant Win in Kazakhstan’s New Kurultai
Early exit polls project Adilet winning a commanding majority in Kazakhstan’s 145-seat unicameral Kurultai, with about 70–72% support and roughly 109 seats after absorbing Amanat (Nur Otan). Five other parties are projected to gain seats above the 5% threshold; turnout was around 74%. The election, the first under the new constitution, also features a planned appointment of a first vice president and the launch of the Kazakhstan People’s Council, with final results due within a week.
