Unveiling Your True Age: The Power of 'Age-o-type'
A recent study from Stanford University School of Medicine has identified four "age-o-types" that reveal a person's true biological age and potential health risks. The age-o-types include metabolic, immune, hepatic, and nephrotic, each associated with different areas of the body that age faster than others. By analyzing biomarkers in samples from 43 participants over two years, researchers found that certain molecules could predict age-related health problems. However, the study also showed that individuals can make lifestyle changes to slow down their biological aging and reduce the risk of diseases associated with their age-o-type.
