
Tennessee cycling team tragedy: driver charged after deadly training crash
Two Milligan University cycling sophomores were killed and seven teammates were injured when a 69-year-old driver struck cyclists training on Highway 19 in Carter County, Tennessee. The driver, John Benfield of North Carolina, faces two counts of vehicular homicide by recklessness and five counts of aggravated assault by vehicle by recklessness as the investigation continues.
