Netflix Develops Yankees Drama From Bateman, Wakely & MLB
Netflix is developing an untitled scripted series about the New York Yankees with Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films and Josh Wakely, after Wakely secured rights from MLB. Bateman and Costigan’s Aggregate have a Netflix History (including Ozark), and Wakely will be an EP alongside Bateman, MLB Studios, and others. The project extends Netflix’s collaboration with MLB, which has featured live events and other MLB-related programming in recent years.
