Palomar Mountain Earthquake Rattles San Diego County
A small earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 near Palomar Mountain shook San Diego County on Friday afternoon. The US Geological Survey later downgraded it to a 4.2 with an epicenter in Aguanga in Riverside County. No tsunamis are expected. NBC 7 staffers in Kearny Mesa felt the shake, and the USGS received responses from people as far away as Chula Vista.
