Spotify will label AI-generated artist profiles with an 'AI Persona' badge to indicate the identity may be artificial; content from these AI Personas will not appear in editorial or algorithmic recommendations by default, though listeners can follow them to include their music. The badge will roll out from mid-September and can be applied via self-disclosure in Spotify for Artists or by human/AI review, starting with profiles that meet certain audience thresholds as part of a broader industry push to tag AI-made music and comply with new labeling rules.
