Novosibirsk Enters Lockdown for Putin Visit
Security restrictions were imposed in Novosibirsk during Vladimir Putin’s visit, telling residents to stay indoors, avoid windows, and not move around key areas including around Bolshevistskaya Street and Novosibirsk State University. Scooter usage and access were restricted in Akademgorodok and near the university campus as police positioned along the expected motorcade route to support the presidential visit.
