AMC and Canal+ have ordered an eight-episode Point Break TV series from Alcon Television Group, set 30 years after the film with a new heist crew linked to the Ex-Presidents and an ex-pro surfer infiltrating them; production starts early next year, with Dave Kalstein and Christopher C. Rogers as co-showrunners, and Studiocanal distributing globally while AMC/AMC+ air the series in the U.S. and Canal+ handles France plus Europe, Africa and Asia.
