Prospects make waves at development camps, with surprises and standout performances
Alexander Suzdalev, who had a successful rookie season with the WHL's Regina Pats, will reportedly turn pro instead of returning to the team. The 19-year-old winger, who recorded 86 points in 66 regular season games, is expected to join the Hershey Bears in the AHL. Suzdalev's performance at the Capitals' development camp received positive feedback, and his decision to turn pro comes as a result of a rare exception to the CHL-NHL Transfer Agreement.
