Heroic Brother Dies Saving Sister's Life in Alabama Shooting
Phil Dowdell died saving his sister's life during a mass shooting at her 16th birthday party in Alabama. He pushed her to the ground before they became separated in the chaos. Alexis was able to escape and take cover outside before discovering that her brother had been shot. He later died in her arms. The shooting left four people dead and 32 others injured. Police have yet to name a suspect or a motive.
