Clark's scoring tear persists as off-court drama swirls around Fever star
Indiana guard Caitlin Clark is on a scoring tear, averaging about 30 points over a four-game July stretch and scoring 32 in a 105-95 win at Seattle, part of a four-game Fever winning streak to reach 18-10. The run follows a 45-point eruption against Seattle earlier in the month and an All-Star Game showing (17 points in 21 minutes). Clark has also been at the center of off-court controversy, including a no-call that Fever coach called egregious and remarks from NBA commissioner Adam Silver calling the saga a "political football," but her on-court dominance continues to rise for Indiana.
