"Half-Life: Alyx Mod Allows Non-VR Gameplay"
A new mod for Half-Life: Alyx allows players to play the game without VR glasses, using just a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The mod, called Half-Life Alyx NoVR, is still a work-in-progress with bugs and missing features, but is now fully playable from start to finish. While Valve had always expected people to mod the VR out of Alyx, the physical experience of the game is an important part of the gameplay, leaving an unintended void if played without VR.
