"Ex-wife Faces Death Penalty for Ambush-Style Murder of Microsoft Executive"
Shanna Lee Gardner, the ex-wife of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan, has been charged with first-degree murder in his ambush-style killing and may face the death penalty. Gardner was arrested in Washington and will be extradited to Florida for trial. Prosecutors also seek the death penalty for Gardner's husband, Mario Fernandez Saldana, who was previously charged in Bridegan's death. The triggerman, Henry Arthur Tenon, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and will testify against Fernandez Saldana and Gardner. The motive for the murder has not been disclosed. Bridegan was shot multiple times while leaving a Jacksonville Beach neighborhood, leaving behind his 2-year-old daughter unharmed.
