Two Lancaster infants die in measles-linked cases as state tally rises
Lancaster County's coroner has identified two infants as measles-associated deaths: Ivan S. Miller, who died August 14 in Strasburg Township with a ruptured spleen listed as the cause of death and measles noted, and Mary S. Stoltzfus, who died August 18 at home from measles-related cardiac arrest and had been diagnosed with Amish lethal microcephaly. Separately, Pennsylvania reported 17 new measles cases, bringing the state total to 594; Lancaster County accounts for 252 of those cases.
