Andreesen Horowitz hopes that the UK's approach will set the pace globally, as the EU has also introduced a crypto framework. However, there are also signs of hostility to the sector among policymakers, with the UK parliament's Treasury committee calling for cryptocurrency trading to be regulated as a form of gambling.
