Every Time I Die’s guitarist and pro wrestler The Butcher dies at 48
Andrew Williams, longtime rhythm guitarist for metalcore band Every Time I Die and pro wrestler known as ‘The Butcher,’ has died at age 48 after collapsing at an independent wrestling show in Millvale, Pennsylvania. AEW confirmed his death. Williams balanced two careers—music (with ETID from 1998–2022) and wrestling (including a stint with AEW and the tag act The Butcher and The Blade)—and had recently spoken about new music with Atomic Rule. Friends and peers in both industries paid tribute, highlighting his generosity and intellect.
