Disney and ESPN to Air Animated NBA Game on Christmas Day
ESPN and Disney are collaborating to present the NBA's first animated alternate broadcast of the Christmas Day game between the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks. The "Dunk the Halls" telecast will air on ESPN2, Disney+, and ESPN+, featuring Disney characters and set in Magic Kingdom Park. The animation will be synchronized with real-time player movements using advanced tracking technology. The traditional broadcast will still be available on ABC and ESPN.
