Broadway Marquees Dim Across 41 Theatres in Honor of Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and More
Broadway marquees across 41 theatres will dim for one minute on September 8 at 6:45 PM ET to honor Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, Josh Grisetti, Anna Louizos, Harold Wheeler, and other industry members as part of a quarterly in-memoriam tradition; the Broadway League notes group dimmings were adopted after controversy over solo ceremonies, and the Broadway In Memoriam Committee can still approve individual tributes; submissions for the December 8 dimming are due by November 17.
