Argentina Establishes All-Match Applause in Messi's Honor
Argentina will pause for one minute in the 10th minute of every match across all football categories to honor Lionel Messi after his international retirement. The AFA confirmed the new tradition, which started in a Copa Argentina game between Velez Sarsfield and Boca Juniors, and extends to men's and women's football as well as futsal and beach soccer.
