Water main breaks cause chaos and closures in Plymouth Township and Reading.
A major water main break in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County caused low-pressure water or no water at all for residents. Repairs are underway and officials anticipate having everything repaired by 9 p.m. Westbound Germantown Pike between Plymouth Road and Chemical Road is closed, and the off-ramp from the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Norristown is also closed due to the break. AQUA officials are at the scene.
