Vatican names Vermont native as new Archbishop.

Bishop Christopher J. Coyne of Burlington, Vermont, has been appointed Coadjutor of the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut, to eventually succeed Archbishop Leonard Blair, who recently submitted his resignation from the Catholic Church. Coyne will serve as the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Burlington until his welcome in the Archdiocese of Hartford in October 2023.
