Archbishop Mitty Trainer Arrested for Filming Sexual Assault of Student
Kelvin Chiu, a 31-year-old athletic trainer at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, was arrested on October 9 for the sexual battery of a 16-year-old student. Police state the assault occurred on October 8 during a sports-related injury treatment, and Chiu allegedly recorded the incident on his cellphone. Detectives found child sexual abuse material on his device during a search of his Fremont home. Chiu faces charges for sexual battery, annoying or molesting a minor, and possession of child sexual abuse material. Authorities warn there may be additional victims due to his position of trust.
