Israeli ministers urge UK sanctions over Falkland Islands dispute
Israeli security minister Itamar Ben Gvir and finance minister Bezalel Smotrich called for sanctions on Britain over the Falkland Islands, including expelling the British ambassador and recognizing Argentina’s sovereignty. Their stance comes as the UK plans to bar trade with Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory, highlighting escalating tensions tied to Falklands sovereignty disputes and Argentina’s hardline stance under President Milei.
