Nebraska's Arik Gilbert Arrested for Burglary in Georgia
Nebraska tight end Arik Gilbert has been arrested for the second time in a month, this time on suspicion of burglary in Georgia. Gilbert, who was awaiting an eligibility ruling from the NCAA following his transfer from Georgia to Nebraska, was previously arrested in Nebraska for felony burglary. The former LSU player, ranked as ESPN's No. 6 overall recruit in the 2020 class, has had personal issues and transfers throughout his college career. He would need a waiver from the NCAA to be eligible to play this season.
