Kenyon Resident John B. Rice, 84, Remembered for Family and Service
John B. Rice, 84, of Kenyon, Minnesota (formerly Faribault), died May 27, 2026. Born April 13, 1942 in Detroit Lakes, he worked 27 years for Crown Cork & Seal, served in the Army National Guard, and married Sandy Siegfried in 1975. A devoted husband and father of six, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, travel, amateur radio, and volunteering with SkyWarn and Roosevelt Elementary. He is survived by his wife, six daughters, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a sister; memorial visitation is set for June 1, 2026, with military honors, at Parker Kohl Funeral Home.
