Steveson exits octagon early after 12-second KO, drawing backlash from UFC legend
Gable Steveson was KO’d in 12 seconds by Sean Sharaf, then left the octagon before the referee could raise Sharaf’s hand, drawing boos and sharp criticism from UFC legend Daniel Cormier who said a great winner should not be an ungrateful loser. The incident followed Sharaf’s pre-fight claim that Steveson is 'a rapist,' a remark tied to Steveson’s 2019 arrest for suspected criminal sexual conduct (a case that was dropped for lack of evidence but fueled ongoing controversy).
