"Top Musicians Unite Against AI Threat to Artists' Rights"
The Artists Rights Alliance, with support from around 200 music artists including Billie Eilish, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, and Camila Cabello, has issued an open letter urging digital music developers to stop using artificial intelligence (AI) to infringe upon and devalue the rights of human artists. The campaign highlights concerns about AI-generated music and its potential to undermine artists, songwriters, and musicians, as well as the need for protections and fair compensation for creators in the face of advancing AI technology.
