Armed Suspect Arrested After Standoff in Arvada and El Paso
An armed person in a parked stolen car caused a three-hour standoff with Arvada police in Colorado. Residents in the area were asked to shelter in place, but the situation has now been resolved and the suspect has been taken into custody. The car was parked near 54th Avenue and Cody Street, and Jefferson County Regional SWAT was also at the scene.
