"NBA All-Star 2024: LED Glass Court Unveiled for Weekend Events"
The NBA will debut a state-of-the-art, full video LED court at Lucas Oil Stadium for All-Star weekend events, including the skills competition, 3-point contest, slam dunk competition, and shooting matchup, while the actual All-Star Game will remain on a wooden court. Developed by ASB GlassFloor, the court will feature interactive graphics, real-time game stats, replays, and player tracking animations, and has been approved for usage by FIBA. The court, made of two layers of laminated safety glass, plays similarly to wood and has been tested by NBA players and executives for safety and performance.
