Deadly Avalanche Strikes Colorado Ski Areas.
An avalanche occurred outside the Aspen Highlands ski area, killing one skier and trapping two others who required rescuers' assistance to exit the hillside. This is the second fatal avalanche in Colorado this weekend and the ninth fatality of the ski season. Search and rescue teams, including the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, responded to the incident.
