Venice Debut Footage Unveils Casey Affleck’s Gothic Drama Company
Deadline exclusively released the first footage from Casey Affleck’s Venice Competition drama Company, a 1975-set Gothic meditation on grief, vengeance and forgiveness that unfolds over a single wintry night as a mysterious woman recounts tales from the past. The cast includes Nick Nolte, Ben Mendelsohn, Adelaide Clemens, Scoot McNairy, Emily Alyn Lind and Caylee Cowan, with Affleck’s son Atticus making his onscreen debut (Indiana also appears in his second feature). Affleck co-wrote the script with Ron Hansen; producers include Steven Schneider and Roy Lee, among others.
