
Unanswered Questions Surrounding SNP Auditors' Resignation Amid Peter Murrell Investigation
The SNP's long-time auditors, Johnston Carmichael, have resigned following a review of its clients, amid a police investigation into the party's finances. The police searched the home of former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell, who is also Nicola Sturgeon's husband, and arrested him before releasing him without charge. The SNP said it was in the process of finding a replacement firm.
