Multiple Drowning Tragedies Strike Over Memorial Day Weekend
A 20-year-old man from New Market drowned in a lake at Stoney Creek Resort near Greenville, according to the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office. Dakota Marcus Fulk was attempting to swim across the lake when he became distressed and went under water. Emergency crews were unable to find him until around midnight. Fulk was recovered from the lake and pronounced dead at the scene.
