Baldur's Gate 3 players have discovered an Easter egg in the game where the character Auntie Ethel's name is a reference to a naming guide for hags in the Dungeons and Dragons' Volo's Guide to Monsters. This hidden reference adds to the game's authenticity and delights fans of the classic tabletop role-playing game.
In Baldur's Gate 3, players can undertake the "Save Mayrina" quest by defeating Auntie Ethel in her hag form and preventing Mayrina from falling to her death. To save Mayrina, players must hit the Control Orb button, located on the west side of the pit, and then defeat Auntie Ethel before the cage breaks. After the fight, players can find the Bitter Divorce wand in the Ancient Workshop and use it on Mayrina's husband's coffin to bring him back as a zombie. Players can choose to keep the wand or give it to Mayrina as she continues her search for a cure in Baldur's Gate.
