Intel's Latest AI Developments and Supercomputing Updates.
Intel has announced the Aurora genAI, a generative AI model for science that will be trained on general text, scientific texts, scientific data, and codes related to the domain. The model will have up to 1 trillion parameters and will be used in various scientific applications, including systems biology, cancer research, climate science, cosmology, polymer chemistry, and materials science. The model will be powered by the Aurora supercomputer and will be created in collaboration with Argonne National Laboratory and HPE.
