Newhall blaze expands from auto shop to restaurant and theater during 3-alarm fire
A three-alarm fire at an auto body shop in Newhall, Santa Clarita, spread to nearby businesses including the Newhall Refinery restaurant and The MAIN theater. The blaze began around 3 a.m., with more than 100 firefighters battling flames for hours; the cause is under investigation and up to six businesses were possibly affected, but there were no reported injuries.
