Marlins Put Hicks on 10-Day IL, Navarreto Recalled to Back Up Mack

Miami placed Liam Hicks on the 10-day injured list with a lower back strain (retroactive to June 20) and recalled Brian Navarreto to back up Joe Mack, while Josh Ekness was moved from the 15-day to the 60-day IL to clear 40-man space. Hicks has been one of Miami’s bright spots in 2026, batting .278/.359/.472 with 13 homers in 288 PA, and Navarreto will provide depth as Hicks rests; Ekness is not expected back until at least August.

Brewers Put Logan Henderson on 15-Day IL with Low Back Strain

Milwaukee placed right-hander Logan Henderson on the 15-day injured list with a low back strain retroactive to May 23 and recalled Coleman Crow from Triple-A Nashville to cover rotation duties as injuries to Priester and Woodruff mount, forcing the Brewers to improvise a crowded pitching staff while Henderson recovers; he owns a 2.23 ERA over 10 starts but time on the IL will delay any extended opportunity.

Christian Yelich Lands on Injured List with Back Strain

Milwaukee Brewers place outfielder Christian Yelich on the 10-day injured list due to a low back strain, with the move retroactive to April 13. Infielder/outfielder Owen Miller has been recalled as a corresponding move. Yelich's absence may be brief, but it's frustrating for the team as he was hitting .333 with five home runs in his first 11 games. With another outfielder also on the injured list, the Brewers have been using a mix of players in the outfield, and the recall of Miller provides them with a versatile bench piece.

Braves' Michael Harris II sidelined with lower back strain.

Braves center fielder Michael Harris II has been placed on the injured list due to a lower back strain. Harris appeared to be injured while stealing second base in Atlanta's victory over San Diego on Thursday. He also hit the outfield wall in St. Louis on Wednesday while chasing a fly ball, but manager Brian Snitker indicated the injury occurred on the slide. Outfielder Eli White was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett to take Harris' spot on the roster.
