"Orioles and Ravens Donate $15M to Key Bridge Emergency Fund"
The Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens have jointly donated $10 million to the Baltimore Community Foundation's "Maryland Tough Baltimore Strong Key Bridge Fund" in the aftermath of the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse. The fund aims to provide financial assistance to the families of victims, port workers, first responders, and others affected by the tragic incident. The majority of the bridge collapsed after a container ship lost control and struck one of its piers, resulting in the deaths of six construction workers and the rescue of two individuals from the river.
