London’s Barbican Offers Free Plant Cuttings Ahead of Major Conservatory Overhaul
The Barbican Conservatory in London is giving away 2,000 free plant cuttings to visitors who book online, ahead of a three-year, £231m restoration that will create a climate-controlled habitat, add improved access with a new lift and stairs, and fully relandscape the space; three plant-adoption events are planned (the first this week, with two more later in the year), while entry remains free and the venue aims to open daily from 2030.
