Trump erupts in tantrum after Kennedy Center naming plan blocked, Beatty says
Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty recounts a staged Zoom Kennedy Center board meeting where President Trump allegedly threw a “tantrum” after a federal judge blocked his bid to have his name inscribed on the building. Beatty described insults and unprofessional conduct, while the board voted to pause most renovations. Trump warned he would not proceed with the project unless the ruling is overturned, and the DOJ has appealed the decision; White House did not deny Beatty’s account.
