iOS 27 beta 5 adds Before Searching and icon refreshes
Apple's iOS 27 beta 5 introduces a new Before Searching option in Settings to control search suggestions, updates app icons for Preview, Remote, Safari, Settings, and Siri (plus Wallet’s Orders icon) and adds first-run update screens for Wallet, Music, App Store, and Photos. Siri voice options expand to British English but advanced features require 12GB RAM and are limited to iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air. Control Center gets tweaks (cellular types hidden; new icon bars) and the screenshot annotations toolbar shrinks. Overall, it's a light release focused on UI tweaks and new search controls.
