DUI driver arrested after high-speed chase on 405 Freeway ends in traffic
A drunk driver led police on a high-speed chase throughout Los Angeles County, hitting speeds of over 100 mph and occasionally 140 mph. The chase started with the Bell Police Department but was taken over by the California Highway Patrol when the driver entered the freeway. The pursuit continued on multiple freeways before ending in gridlock on the I-405 North near Inglewood, where the driver and passenger surrendered.
