Dubb Champions Belmont Park’s Modern Makeover for a New Era in Racing
Businessman Michael Dubb hails Belmont Park’s half‑billion redevelopment as beautiful and user‑friendly, featuring a modern, multi‑level layout with hospitality spaces and grandstand views. The rebuild includes a new mile‑long all‑weather track, two expanded turf courses with advanced drainage, and a redesigned backstretch with premium dining and social areas. The first two floors open this weekend, with floors 3–5 opening later, and the project aims for year‑round use with a daily capacity near 10,000 and a full grand opening around spring 2027, as organizers and NYRA seek to boost attendance and cross‑promotional opportunities with the New York Islanders.
