Netflix’s Better Than the Movies Expands Cast With Deacon Phillippe and Judy Greer
Netflix’s film adaptation of Lynn Painter’s rom-com novel Better Than the Movies has added eight new cast members, including Deacon Phillippe and Judy Greer, joining previously announced leads Beatrice Kitsos and David Iacono. Production kicked off in Chicago with director Julia Hart; producers include Hart, Jordan Horowitz, Shauna Phelan and Melanie Krauss, and the script is by Heather Flanders alongside Hart and Horowitz. The ensemble also features Nicole Bruner, Luke Kirby, Claire Coffee, Ora Duplass, Veronica Garrubbo and Kynlee Heiman.
