TECNO pushes bezel-free limits with a 0mm concept phone at IFA 2026

TECNO unveiled a 0mm bezelless concept phone at IFA 2026, showing a near-borderless 6.7-inch, 144Hz display achieved with a dual-layer cover glass and rear-mounted assembly. The device is clearly a concept, not production-ready, powered by a Dimensity 7300e with a 6000mAh battery, a patterned back, and AI-oriented software touches. TECNO emphasizes the display concept over performance, but durability and case/screen protector compatibility remain open questions for real-world use.

Tecno's Bezelless Concept Demonstrates True Edge-to-Edge Display

Tecno’s Bezelless is a concept phone that eliminates visible bezels by mounting the OLED panel from the rear and using two cover-glass layers, yielding a true edge-to-edge 6.78-inch display (144Hz, 1.5K) with a slightly thicker frame; presented ahead of IFA in Berlin and, while not a commercial device, proves bezel-free designs are feasible and fuels speculation about future phones, including a rumored bezel-less iPhone.
