Final Showdowns Set as Pro Championships Day Two Narrows the Field
Day Two at the Pro Championships narrowed every division to its finalists: Women’s action saw Seattle Riot join Washington DC Scandal in the title tilt after beating Molly Brown and BENT; Mixed final features Ann Arbor Hybrid and Austin Disco Club after Hybrid routed Lawless and shame and Disco Club topped Durham Toro and Minneapolis Drag’n Thrust; Men’s semifinals set Ring of Fire against Truck Stop for Monday’s final, with Ring delivering a win over Pacmen and Truck Stop finishing off Chain Lightning. The day also highlighted bid implications for Nationals, including Sprocket dropping out of bid range (potentially handing an extra bid to Bay Area Mischief) as teams jockey for seeding based on Monday results.
