Two Dead, One Critical After South Bend Shooting on Bissell Street
Two people were killed and a third was hospitalized in a shooting on the 1300 block of Bissell Street in South Bend around 11:25 p.m. Victims were identified as Alaya Maez (20) and Javon Hopper (18), who died at the scene, while Geimisha Broadnax (22) is in critical condition; police have released no suspects and say the case is under investigation.
